Policies

All relationships at Wellness Junction are built on a foundation of mutual trust and respect.

As a condition of working with us, all clients must to agree to the policies below. If you don't support any of the policies set forth we are happy to refer you other health professionals.

Privacy Policy

Prior to your first appointment you will be required to fill out a confidential health history. This form must be updated yearly and/or when there is a significant change in your health history (surgery, major illness). 

Your health history will remain confidential and information on it may only be released with your consent or as required by law. 

Cancellation Policy 

Your scheduled Massage Therapy appointment is a time that is being set aside only for you.

 

If you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, for any reason, the card on file will be charged for half the treatment cost. (ANY REASON.. this includes car troubles, sick children, scheduling conflicts, you having an illness)
The one exception: If you fill your spot, we will waive the fee.

 

It is your responsibility to understand your extended health coverage (how much coverage you have when your date renews etc.)

It is also a great idea to schedule appointments throughout the year rather than the last month of the year.

Zero Tolerance Policy

At Wellness Junction, we are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all our patients, staff, and visitors. To ensure this, we have implemented a zero tolerance policy.

 

Wellness Junction clinic, website, social media and personnel have/has a zero tolerance with regards to inappropriate, harmful and dangerous language, behaviours and actions. This means that any form of harassment, violence, discrimination, or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated within our clinic premises or extension thereof. We strive to uphold a professional, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for everyone.

Examples of behaviour considered unacceptable under our zero tolerance policy include:

  • Verbal abuse, threats, or intimidation towards any individual.

  • Physical aggression or violence towards any individual.

  • Harassment or discrimination based on race, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

  • Disruptive or offensive behaviour that interferes with the well-being or comfort of others.

  • Sexualization of the clinic, treatment and practitioners, including solicitation for means of sex.

Failure to abide by this policy will result in any and all of the following:

  • Termination of appointment at any point in time (no matter the length of time scheduled).

  • Removal from the premises.

  • Denial/termination of any initial and future appointments.

  • Discharge of client without referral to another massage therapist.

  • Social Media reporting of inappropriate comments or messages.

  • Involvement of law enforcement authorities, if necessary.
